The Church of Saint Martin in the Martjanci village
In the Martjanci village there is an amazing Gothic church, whose construction dates
back to the 14th century. Inside there are beautiful old frescoes, one of which is a
self-portrait of the artist who painted the church inside. This fresco is considered
one of the first self-portraits in the history of European art. Due to many events
connected directly with this church, it has written it's name in history for
centuries.

Goričko Nature Park
The name of the park Goričko comes from the word "Gorič", as residents called
the local hills, which were formed where there used to be the seabed. The past
centuries, by a lucky chance, practically didn’t touch the area in any way, but
retained its flavor and originality of the local residents, as well as its amazing
flora and fauna.
The castle Grad (in Slovenian “grad” means castle) is located on the territory of
the park which is one of the largest baroque castles in Slovenia, as well as one of
the largest medieval complexes in Europe. The interior of the castle has about
365 rooms.
In general, many cultural, sporting and recreational activities take place in the Goričko Park.

Watchtower Vinarium in Lendava
The watchtower Vinarium is located in Lendava, the center of the Slovenian-Hungarian bilingual
zone. From a height of 53 meters there are incredible views of the surrounding expanses, stretching
all the way to the Mura River basin. From the top you can see the plains and hills of four
countries: Slovenia, Austria, Croatia and Hungary. A high-speed elevator lifts to the top,
or you can get there by overcoming 240 steps where you can take picturesque photographs of
the surrounding landscapes.
